Overview

The Aroral Confederacy (commonly referred to as TAC, now being ARC) is a sovereign interstellar technocratic union that spans multiple planetary colonies, orbital installations, and industrial outposts. Established as a response to widespread instability and resource scarcity, TAC governs through a structured hierarchy of a president, vice regent, ministers, and representative Senate, all following the Radiant Charter.

Capital - Arora

Arora serves as the central capital and administrative heart of the Aroral Confederacy (TAC). Strategically located on an earth-like paradise surrounded by mountains, Arora is both a monumental relic of the old world and a beacon of technocratic resurgence. Revitalized into a fortified metropolis layered with advanced infrastructure and symbolic architecture.

The city is the seat of the Senate, and the Presidential Office. The city blends retrofuturistic design with brutalist restoration, showcasing a mix of retro and futuristic structures fitted with, administrative halls, and transport conduits.

Arora is divided into several key districts:

  • Administrative District The operational center of TAC governance. It includes the Senate Hall, Ministries, the Vice Regent’s Command Station. This district manages domestic administration, intercolonial communication, and executive affairs.
  • Residential District Housing for civil servants, technocrats, and approved citizens. Designed with strict zoning and self-sustaining life-support systems, this district maintains stability for the capital’s permanent population.

Government Structure

TAC operates under a technocratic federal system led by the President and the Oracle. The Senate functions as the primary legislative body, composed of representatives from member colonies. Below the executive level, the Confederacy is organized into ministries, each overseeing vital aspects of society, infrastructure, and development.

Key Government Roles:

  • President – Head of State, national leader, and ultimate diplomatic authority.
  • Vice Regent – Low Head of State, and has diplomatic authority.
  • Chancellor of State – Manages internal policy, foreign affairs, and intercolonial cohesion.
  • Supreme Commander – Oversees all military operations and defense protocols.
  • Minister of Health & Security – Handles citizen welfare, emergency response, and internal security.
  • Minister of Expansion – Supervises colonial development, territory management, and growth.
  • Minister of Innovation – Oversees scientific research, technology, and intellectual advancement.
  • Minister of Enlightenment – Maintains cultural identity, education, and archival integrity.

Colonies

TAC classifies its holdings into several distinct colony types, each serving a different function within the confederate system:

  • Mining Colonies – Focused on resource extraction and supply, often in remote or hazardous locations.
  • Metropolitan Colonies – Developed urban centers with residential populations, industry, and civic institutions.
  • Orbital Colonies – Floating habitats and research facilities that orbit planets, serving logistics and science operations.

Each colony maintains local governance under TAC oversight, with appointed supervisors and representation in the Senate.
